e-road permit for goods

Ranchi News: An e-road permit for goods going out of Jharkhand was launched by the State Commercial Taxes Department here on Monday. The system was launched by advisor to the governor Madhukar Gupta in the presence of his colleague K Vijay Kumar and state chief secretary R S Sharma at the secretariat.

State commercial taxes secretary M R Meena said the online permit system had been developed by experts that would help the department keep a watch on movement of raw materials and finished products out of Jharkhand.

“From June 1, it will be mandatory for every trader and industry to use online permits only and anyone not using the online permit will have to face penal action,” Meena said
